Company Profile

For over 40 years Blank Welding has served its customers with quality service at competitive prices.

Blank Welding first began in 1975, when owner, Richard Blank, worked as a subcontractor to perform barge repairs for Ohio Barge Line, a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation.

In 1985, Richard decided to open his own repair facility in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, located at river mile marker 22.3 on the Monongahela River.

Then in 1995, Blank Welding expanded with an additional repair facility in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, located at river mile marker 22.5 on the Monongahela River.

Blank Welding expanded it's operations again in 2012 with the purchase of an additional facility in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, located at river mile marker 22.4.  With the addition of the new facility, Blank Welding has a 43,000 square foot fabrication shop with 2 - 10 ton overhead cranes.  The new facility also has its own railroad spur.

Today, Blank Welding is a full service repair and fabrication facility, offering a wide variety of services including new construction, repair, minor to complete boat overhauls, machine shop, fabrication shop and engineering services.
